Oregon Ballet Theatre/ Mirror, Mirror Costume Designs
This year, I was honored to design costumes for the Oregon Ballet Theatre’s world premiere of Mirror, Mirror, choreographed by Michelle Manzanales, which took place in June 2022.
From Nov. 2021-June 2022, Oregon Ballet Theatre granted me unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to film the making of the costumes. I’ll be creating a 15-minute documentary film, Handmade, which focuses on the artform of theatrical costuming. The impressive strive for world class artistry by Oregon Ballet Theatre (Oregon’s only professional ballet company) will be highlighted in this film.
