Fuchsia Lin

Artist, Costume Designer
and Filmmaker

My mission is leading innovative art that promotes the well-being of our planet.

I'm forging new ground as a cross-disciplinary artist by bringing people in from the film, fashion, dance, and performing arts communities together to engage with each other through my art.

PBS FEATURE

I'm honored to be featured on PBS Oregon Public Broadcasting Art Beat, an Emmy award winning TV program, which aired on May 5, 2023.

Future Cosmos Flow

A twenty-five minute art and dance film about the power of water to transform, heal and renew our lives. In this magical fable, an exiled royal family must journey through dangerous lands and learn to harness a mystical water-power to subdue a tyrannical Uncle who threatens the ecological survival of their Kingdom.

Crystals of Transformation

An environmental short film about water. A grieving woman journeys to the coast and meets a mysterious otherworldly character, who turns out to be a powerful alter ego with the key to healing.

Fashion and Costume Design

I create costumes to dress performers who portray otherworldly beings, gods, and supernatural humans from mythology and fairy tales. These characters are archetypes, often inspired by the elements of water, fire, air and earth.

Water Inspires Me To Create

I’ve always been drawn to the element of water. Encouraged by my father, I began swimming at the age of four and continue to this day. Years later I learned about the research of Dr. Masaru Emoto, a water researcher who found that our emotions affect the molecular structure of water.
