My company is expanding!

The last decade has been an exciting period of exponential growth creating work for top companies and organizations. I’m bursting at the seams in my home studio and I’m looking for a larger atelier to create my couture garments, fashion, costumes and film work in.

Here are the requests for my new dream atelier:

An elegant space, 700-1100 Sq. ft large, not a shared a space. About 20% of the space will be used for storing my costume collection.
A bathroom included in the space that doesn’t need to be shared with other spaces, it would be nice to have a kitchen sink space.
A safe, quiet place ideally on a second or higher floor. Private access only; this is not a space for the public to have access to. Good neighborhood. Can be in a residential neighborhood.
I work best in solitude; so I’m not ncessarily looking for an artist collective building or community space.
Rent: less than $1,000/month. Month to month lease preferred.
Hardwood floors preferred, concrete floors okay.
Lots of natural light, good ventilation and high ceilings are a plus.

My company designs couture garments, textiles, fashion and costumes.

I’m open to different neighborhoods in Portland: North, NW and SW Portland. Inner SE Portland and Sellwood is ok, but not deep SE.
This space will be used by myself, 2-3 employees during the week and sometimes weekends. There will be private clients stopping in for appointments.
We design and fabricate couture garments, textiles, costumes, fashion and small film props. This includes a lot of sewing, drafting and 3D printing. We will be operating domestic and industrial sewing machines as well as 3D printing machines at the atelier.
